Dear spectator,
The Festival Belluard Bollwerk International has a history of producing and presenting art works that have often created rumours. Passed on word by mouth, the projects of the past 27 years take on a life of their own. For this year’s edition of the festival we have twenty artistic propositions up our sleeves, which we hope will get you talking too.
Once again the Belluard Festival is a platform for emerging and renowned artists, from Switzerland and around the world, that broaden our horizon. During the day and in the evening we present to you a series of ingenious, courageous, and experimental interventions at the Belluard, the Ancienne Gare and on other locations in the city of Fribourg. Going from more classical forms, with a wink to a theatrical foto-story, a stand-up concert or a danced dialogue, to more inovative formats like a print shop for myths, a burlesque radio piece or a library with human books, we keep a finger on the pulse of what’s currently going on in the art world.
